Management at Ability Action Australia

9.1
9.1 rating for Management, based on 26 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Management make themselves very accessible and approachable. They regularly praise the staff for their achievements.

Satisfied with my direct line managers who are very supportive and I have great relationships with. The higher up managers sometimes seem a bit out of touch (i.e. focusing on KPIs when COVID is rampant). The company is growing a lot and managers are getting more busy, I've noticed there is less recognition for good work/good news stories, which is unfortunate.

Fantastic mentors and if there isn't enough support from our local brank they will find support from sister company or from over east.

The managers are another person in the team they make sure that they have time for us if we need them. The team leaders are very accessible currently.

Yes, I am generally happy with internal communication. My team leader checks in on my daily and recognizes and praise when deserved. It is very nice to have have your hard work recognized.

Yes, I am satisfied with my manager. They are great mentors and are there to provide support when it is needed. In terms of communication, I have found my manager to always respond extremely quickly to my messages and be there to provide on the spot support.

Some only ok, some good and some amazing. Our BP makes me feel valued and appreciated. I think there is often praise for meeting billables, not so much for the work we do.

I believe my managers are great people who genuinely care about their staff and the company. They are transparent, provide feedback, flexible, and a socialites who don't mind having some fun every now and then

Yes satisfied with managers however concerns that focus on billable hours may negatively impact overall service delivery with participants and become business focused rather than person focused

They are very approachable and accessible. I love that I can contact them through a variety of methods (face-to-face, teams, phone, email) and they have made it very comfortable for me to approach them with questions/concerns.
