Your role

BMW Group Australia’s Sales team is looking for a Corporate Sales Intern (graduate).

Located at BMW Group Australia’s head office in Mulgrave and reporting to the Head of Corporate & Fleet Sales, this role is central to the success of the Corporate Sales team. The role is responsible for coordinating the direct sale operations and providing general administrative support across dealer retail programmes.

The Corporate Sales team is a diverse and high-growth business unit that is driving success for BMW Group Australia through new business channels and initiatives. This provides the suitable candidate with the opportunity for exposure and development of business acumen as a baseline to their career path.

What awaits you?

  • You will manage the direct sale processes, including the coordination of vehicle logistics with internal and external stakeholders and communicating with end customers.
  • You will manage the administration of all Corporate Sales programs, including setting up new companies, and programs and organizing customer incentives.
  • You will be responsible for monthly reporting across all Corporate Sales channels and conduct dealer audits.
  • You will manage the logistics of the Corporate Sales fleet.
  • You will assist and facilitate Corporate Sales events.
  • You will be responsible for providing ongoing support to the head office team and over 40 BMW and MINI Dealers across Australia.

Training & development 

BMW Group Australia developed an extensive onboarding program for all new BMW team members as part of their drive program. In consultation with their respective department, the new team members automatically take part in the program in their first 12 months. About you

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in Commerce/Business/Economics, or a related field.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Well-developed interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive nature, taking initiative and accountability for your work.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • A passion to learn and a strong drive to achieve set goals.
