2022 R&D Entrepreneur (Rolling Intake)

At the Graduate Institute of Innovation, we believe tomorrow's change starts with today's innovation. We exist for the purpose of backing graduates and giving innovative minds a platform to succeed. Across multiple disciplines such as medical, design, general science, and engineering (just to name a few), we provide graduate students with the resources they need to work on projects that they are passionate about. While a high level of expertise in your field is recommended, we also value your ability to conduct independent research to perform your best work. We are looking to grow our team with fresh minds, either part-time or full-time, at our brand-new built-for-this-purpose facility in Gregory Hills, NSW.

Your Role:
This role is suitable for graduates who have recently (within the last 3 years) completed a Bachelor's Degree or higher in a progressive sector of industry. While we are not limited to any particular field, the work to be conducted must be novel and innovative in nature. You must propose a project to be worked on (even if it's something you started in university), so long as our team deems it appropriate under R&D criteria. Some of your tasks may include, but is not limited to:

• Undertaking independent research
• Conducting experimental trials
• Understanding what resources you need to perform your work (specific software, laboratory equipment etc.)
• Generating monthly data reports and weekly progression logs
• Assist in commercialisation opportunities
• Participate in open discussions and advise on other projects
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace
