Great culture, everyone works pretty closely and everyone is here to help each other

The structure of company was greatly divided whereas I couldn't memorize them all. However their divisions make their jobs more organized and specified based on the assets their department is assigned with. The cooperation and teamwork mostly amazed me during my stay since I saw how a team within the department I'm at works as a team and cooperates with their team leader despite that she is a woman. In socializing among the employees, it was overwhelming at first since I have the expectations that they are intellectuals and they don't talk to someone less intellectual than them but I was wrong. Hence they shared their experiences to us and answered our work and academic related questions with hesitations which I admire as well.

The culture is collaborative and supportive. I do find that the team I am in is not as organized as I would like it to be due to recent movement within the team. I also find that there is such an emphasis on chargeable hours and focusing on work that there isn't time to banter with colleagues and relax at times.

- Implementation of focus time (2 hours per day, 3 times a week), where people focus on their work (so that everyone can get Recharge)
- Grads are paired with a buddy, but you can ask questions to anyone
- After working for 3 months in the office, grads have the choice of working from home 2 days of the week
- For each service line, there is 1 day of the week where everyone is expected to be in the office
- After-hours drinks on Thursday and Friday every week (used to be Friday only, but because of Recharge, they added Thursday)
- Monthly social club events, fully funded by Partners - first-come, first-served
- Within each team, they might also organise social events, but you pay out of your own pocket on these ones

Everyone is supportive and the culture is what attracted me to the firm. I am able to work alongside partners, for example, they don't have set offices and desks so each day is new in regards to who you get to work next to. Although the partners are the senior staff, they are approachable and really down to earth. They look after us well.
Additionally, our personal wellbeing is prioritized which I appreciate.
There are many opportunities to socialise - there are week drinks/food and many social events to attend.
