About Jefferies Australia

Jefferies Australia is a global, client-focused investment bank that is entrepreneurial and fast-paced, and they have become the fastest-growing investment bank over the last 10 years. Their strong global growth has enabled significant geographical expansion, including the establishment of their Australian office in 2018, led by Michael Stock.

Your role

Interns will have unique exposure to a broad range of coverage areas across M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets, and have the ability to create a lasting network of peers, and junior and senior bankers, both locally and globally.

The Jefferies’ Australia team structure affords Interns the opportunity to work closely with their founding bankers and senior leadership on the origination and execution of both public market and private transactions. Interns will experience working in a team with global connectivity and be part of an exciting and growing platform in the Australian market.

Training & development

The Jefferies Australia Winter Internship provides students with an unparalleled experience within the investment banking industry. The program will be offered over the months of June, July and August, during which time Interns will have 3 to 4 weeks of work experience to develop a diverse range of technical and analytical skills and apply these in real-world situations for Jefferies’ clients. Their intern program is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in investment banking.
