Justin [00:00:00] What are your top three tips that you can give to new grads starting out in those early days at EY to make sure they are as successful as possible? Just in that first day, in that first week sort of thing, first month even, to just really stand out.

Charlene [00:00:15] So the first thing I would say is to say yes to opportunities even if it's something like, Would you like to go grab a coffee with the team? say yes, even if you don't drink coffee because all of these little opportunities are learning touch points for you. So getting to know the team is really important because you learn by osmosis. So that will be the first tip. Second tip I would say is to also say yes to opportunities of learning as well. So saying yes to social opportunities, saying yes to learning and development. So if there's a new skill that you can learn, put yourself out there, particularly if you don't have experience in that area. It's all about learning, I think, as part of the graduate program. And then the third thing is it's okay to make mistakes and it's okay to own up to them and it's okay to ... this is part of your learning journey. So we're not expecting and we don't have that expectation of you to be the perfect consultant. You're a graduate. You're supposed to be learning. So it's okay to make mistakes, just own up to them and get the feedback and then you can move on and do better next time.
