How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Very flexible but also considerate we have a life outside of work.

The 'reasonable extra hours' in every employment contract is vague. It's rare for grads to be working more than an extra hour per week. Again, will depend on the team and Principal in charge, but by and large it's pretty good.

Dependant on the team! Most teams are very flexible with working from home or amending your hours if you have an appointment etc

With the exception of a couple of later nights, I work standard hours. The firm is quite flexible with the hours - if I start early I am able to leave early. If I need to leave the office at the end of the day but have more work to do I can also always log back on later at home.

The flex+ policy is a huge benefit and is taken advantage of by both senior and junior staff.

It is not an expectation of the company that you work 10 hour days, as is the culture at other law firms.

Honestly not too bad. Generally I get in at 8:30 and leave by 5:30. Have had the occasional later finish but if I have something on I am more than welcome to leave.

Work hours are not too long. There is a good work/life balance and no need to stay back late unless it is necessary or if there is a pressing deadline. My supervisors are flexible with work hours.

I generally arrive at work at 8:30 and leave at 5:30. Occasionally I will work until 6:30, but this is rare. Everyone is very flexible to allow for you to maintain your commitments outside of work.
