Salary at Queensland Audit Office

It is about what I was expecting,

Pay is above average for graduate jobs. No bonus applicable but the benefits like super and salary sacrificing are great.

The pay is the standard amount for a graduate working in the public sector and since it is government there are no differences in pay between the same roles. It also means that there are no bonuses in the company.

As my first full time job, the pay is very impressive to me.

The pay is better than I was receiving in the private sector job I previously had.

The company pays very well and seems to hire within quite frequently for senior positions.

There are no bonuses at the QAO for my level. The pay is quite high at my level compared to the private sector.

QAO pay is higher than most private sector graduate programs. The additional benefits like increased super are amazing as well.

Pay is reasonable for the work that I am doing and the education I have. Bonuses are not involved as it is a government organisation.

The social events are good value, and a great opportunity to get to know people you don't usually work with.

Travel!

Flexible time: If you work an extra 15 minutes on any day, record it in the timesheet and you can work 15 minutes less on any other day.

Lot of flexibility with working from home, the clients site, or head office. There is the opportunity to travel around Queensland.

We get free fruit boxes, cookies and morning tea at every all staff seminar which takes place every two months. We get to travel to remote locations in Queensland.

There is a travel allowance on jobs that require you to travel around QLD to visit client sites. This allowance is generous.
