What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Suppose you can always like more. For the quantity and quality of work, and number of actuarial exemptions, thought perhaps a little more - but I really can't complain.

Pay has been OK, not particularly higher or lower than peers in the industry with similar experience and actuarial qualification. Salary increases for actuarial exam passes have been significantly improved recently, meaning future progression is more defined, and pay has been able to keep up with competitors.

Probably a bit low compared with other graduate roles, bonus seems in line with others

In the role I work, my pay is vary closely tied to my professional qualification with the Actuaries Institute. This creates a direct incentive to follow professional development and offers control over my pay raises. Typically bonuses are paid annually based on company performance as well as individual performance. As I was a new starter, I had a partial individual performance for the half year I had worked to the date of the bonus.

Salary benchmarking may need to be reassessed. Also salary increases are very minimal.

I am very happy with my pay. I received a salary higher than the ceiling of my expectations. I also received a pay rise and bonus after my first year which I did not expect. However the tax on the bonus hurt.

Pay is suitable for this level and type of job. I have not experience a bonus yet

For the quality and quantity of output - middle of the road. Small bonus paid.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Working from home - haven't had any

Company has a great study policy, and will pay for tuition fees and provides plenty of study leave. Taxi and dinner is reimbursed by the company for late finishes. When in the office there were monthly catered morning teas with hot food and cakes, and regular team events (dinners, activities, parties, etc) covered by the company, but has been reduced since COVID.

very few given company policy. Only perk received was flight for moving interstate

I think a good bonus which is becoming more and more common post covid-19 is very accommodating WFH environment. A more specific perk for WTW is a full range of study support and tuition remuneration.

Lots of performance based prizes which are for people in every team. Random gifts from management. I get to go to gala dinners that WTW are invited to. I have been invited to watch the basketball in an insurers corporate suite. I didn't think something like this would happen this early in my career.
