Management at Veolia Australia & New Zealand

8.1
8.1 rating for Management, based on 11 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
It really depends on the manager. For the most part, managers are good at communication and providing support. It's to be expected that some will be better than others, just as you would get along better with certain people.

I have had mixed bag with my managers, some have been very strong communicators and mentors and others being less involved. In general however they have been pretty good and I would have regular updates or catch ups with them to update on my progress as due to my role my manager would not actually be on the same project/site as myself. I feel like my managers have been good as recognizing my work and giving feedback.

Depends on your manager, can be hit-and-miss. Most managers are very busy and don't usually have time to mentor. others can be micromanagers which creates a stressful and uncomfortable work environment. Overall most let you do your work and give good direction.

My manager is one of the best mentors and role models I could have asked for. I am often learning new things from her and feel valued and appreciated constantly.

They make time and are good across the board, the high management care about people and do their best to make time. It is easy to find colleagues who are willing to help you and mentor you. One on ones happen regularly and involve feedback and recognition where applicable.

Overall, my managers have been understanding, easy to talk to and considerate. Internal communication is very good within the company and praise/recognition and issues/breaches are all discussed when necessary

I have had good managers so far. They are generally accessible and I had an incredible mentor in my first rotation who gave the opportunity to manage a project and learn various skills. Additionally, my managers communicate well and do a great job of making sure my tasks are meaningful and that I always have something to learn
