Please describe the training programmes at your company and tell us what skills you've picked up.
The grad program has invested a lot of time and money into Development Weeks, which have been great so far for general skills, communication, etc. Local training specific to the job is sometimes a bit more lacking.
Graduate, Auckland
Formal and informal training has been some what lacking with most of the knowledge I have picked up just been through asking people to explain different topics/ideas to me. Though work has been putting me through my paces in terms of just learning more things on the job.

Most learning is on the job where you learn by doing or asking other colleagues for assistance.

Plenty of formal training

Training for different rotations could be managed better. I feel at the moment that it's very much learn the basics and the difficult things will arise when working that rotation. However, the fact that we have different rotations is a great way of developing and understanding the business unit as a whole.

There have been graduate weeks that train graduates in various aspects of the corporate landscape. I have been assigned to different people to learn more about their roles and to pick up skills - Quality Assurance (done on the job), Project Estimation, etc

My manager approached me for multiple external training sessions (paid by the company), and when I would request formal training they get approved where I could show the value from it.

My on-the-job training was not sufficient for the expectations for the roles I have been put in. But once I voiced these concerns, management have paid and sent me on courses to rectify gaps in my understanding
Graduate, Pyrmont
The company has great training programs such as teaching us how to network effectively and how to make an impactful conversation. I am impressed by these workshops so far
