While Pedestrian Group already focuses on diversity and inclusion, this program is dedicated to supporting underrepresented communities.

Pedestrian Group believes in having a culture where all people feel valued, can create and thrive in their work, and work to inspire others - no matter where they sit on the spectrum of sexuality and identity.

Pedestrian Group actively supports LGBTQIA+ inclusiveness, and promotes inclusion and equality in the workplace. Working with external clients and business partners, Pedestrian Group continues to produce work that is specifically aimed at increasing awareness of issues that affect the LGBTQIA+ community. 

Some examples of this include: 

All of Pedestrian Group’s policies are LGBTQIA+ inclusive. For example, their parental leave policy is inclusive of same-sex partners and families, includes adoption, surrogacy and foster parents.

Pedestrian Group offers regular training to employees on inclusive language and behaviours that are aimed at creating a harmonious workplace that promotes honesty, supportiveness, and encouragement, fosters open collaboration, and creates a strong network of community members and allies alike.
